This farm won first place in CUP OF EXCELLANCE and TAZA DORADA competitions with the Gesha Verde variety from the 2023 harvest .
In 2024, Ecuador experienced severe drought that caused stress to the coffee plants but which also helped to strengthen the plants and producing an even sweeter coffee berry. Finally at the end of December and start of 2025, there was good rainfall/precipitation.
The upcoming 2026 coffee harvest starting in June/July and going through October/November at the higher elevations will be better this year than 2024/2025 primarily because of weather. 2024 was colder than normal and 2025 was colder and wetter than normal. 2026 is warmer and dryer and having had sufficient rain fall in the wet season is making for a bigger better harvest.
